Yeah, Detroit isn't mediocre. They only have 1 bad loss, in overtime on the road to the Titans. They were within one score of both Green Bay & Chicago and only 8 point loss at San Fran.

With victories over St. Louis, Jacksonville, and Philly. They have one good win over Seattle (who isn't that good on the road). They're 4-6. They're 23rd in points allowed, don't have a good running game, and Stafford is 21st in QB rating. They're mediocre.

Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, TB, New Orleans, San Francisco, New England, Baltimore, Pittsburgh (with Big Ben), Houston, Denver. That's 12 teams clearly better than Detroit. That puts them at no better than the 13th best in the NFL.

Seattle, NYG, Dallas, Cincy, and Indy all have better records and would be favored over Detroit on a neutral field.

They're mediocre.
