Sons of Anarchy on Facebook is trying to get people to believe that he is John Teller. They have pics of both and they seem similar. It was posted 54 minutes ago and has almost 2500 comments so I'm not about to sort through them.

It was a great episode nonetheless.

I also thought something was gonna go down between Nero and Clay at the house.

That shite would be bananas.

eta: Just googled, and you can easily find what he was casted as. Don't want to post it here.

ive also seen the John is still alive comments - that the death was staged for him to get out.

which might be true also.

the most obvious play here is that clay is really jaxs father though, and that a birth certificate thats hidden proves it. some reason to be skeptical there though.

its not a simple gemma and clay killed him cause they were in love though. ive been thinking that for a bit, but i dont know what the hitch is going to be.

Agreed, since the safe was stolen I have said that it has to show that Jax is Clay's son.... But like you said, it is a little too obvious.

I don't know what else he could be hiding in there that would be that earth shattering. Maybe documents showing John was stealing from the club

A couple things:

1. I doubt the birth certificate saying Clay is Jax's dad. I think at some point he probably would've had to use it for something, and copies are too readily available for something like that to go unnoticed.

2. In the couple episodes following the invasion, I took the missing legal documents as more of Clay getting rid of anything that could cause him to lose something in a divorce, which I thought was inevitable.

3. In reading JT's memoirs, it seems highly impossible that he was stealing from the club.

Agree, but I can't think of anything as groundbreaking as either that or Jax's BC that would change anything.

1) Agreed - it just seems like its too easy to jump straight to it as a viewer. too spoon fed, and although it would be a big twist on the show, 8 episodes later its no longer a surprise twist.

2) I dont think thats the case still - im pretty sure theres something noteworthy in there. still very curious what jax thinks it is if hes rounding the club up to view it at clays house before trying to kill him. he clearly has some idea whats in there and a simple birth certificate or such likely wouldnt do it. this seems life or death, not like a divorce chip.

3) perhaps not stealing but maybe ready to turn on them?

theres a tiny bit of me that buys the John Teller is still alive storyline even. they definitely have me off balance.

That would be absolutely nuts. Could you imagine a divided club? JT/Jax charter Vs. Clay charter?

Only thing is I think stealing the safe was a product of the home invasions, and not that the home invasions were a product of stealing the safe, if that makes sense. If Clay wanted to make the invasions seem real, that safe couldn't have stayed.

I just kind of think he was like yeah jack all my shite but I want all my legal shite back. But who the hell knows. I'm still shellshocked about Opie.

Your absolutely right and I knew that but got wrapped up and didn't think when typing - derrrrr

Anyway the JT story really is wide open knowing they had police in their pocket at the time of death. Unser could've wrote a report to cover anything. JT tells people he may die, under covers his butt and he heads out of town safely? If you take away the assumption that gemmas in on it - her saying she suspected suicide back in season 2/3 could point towards her just thinking he was "getting ready" to leave before the death.

I thought of this also, and we've also seen pictures. One can argue that the voice of JT's we hear is the voice Jax gives him in his head, but I don't think Logue is JT. He was casted for a specific role.
