Tampa to win. It is only acceptable to root for the division winner to better our WC chances; never acceptable to root for the division leader while we are still in the race. Most of you are thinking too tinily.

Two questions.
Do you see Atlanta losing 5 more times on their schedule?
Do you see the Saints not losing again this season?
If both of these are yes, you can pull for Tampa.
If either is no, you need to pull for Atlanta.
Easy choice, Atlanta to win. At this point in the season, you just get in. The last Wild Card is in play, not the division.

First of all, they only need to lose 4 more times, and they play us once and Tampa twice. Oh, and they also play the Giants - so yes.
Secondly, we could very well win out.
"At this point in the season," when the division is within reach, you try to win the division!
Think harder.

Also, the division is always in play until either the math doesn't allow us to catch up, or until Atlanta has a "z" next to their name in the NFCS standings, regardless of how certain you are as to how the final six weeks will play out. Come on, people.

Either way it works for us. I still don't say the falcons have the division locked up. If they lose four games down the stretch then we can still win the division.
I'm really not concerned about Tampa, they are going to lose multiple games too. I don't see them doing better than 9-7. If we can't do better than 9-7 then we won't be going to the playoffs anyways.
