That team was loaded with MLB talent...not sure how that warrants it being a "David vs. Goliath" match. Is LSU David? Because SB was clearly the superior team in every way. Their hitting was amazing and it isn't like our pitchers suck. I guess it is kinda surprising they could beat us at home though.

After game 3, it was a fricking long arse ride home. I was so fricking pissed off. I'll never forget it. My wife didn't say a word to me the rest of the night.
Game 1 was perhaps the best game I've ever seen in my life in person. If it was a complete game and not broken into 2 days it would have been better, but I'll take it.

Stony Brook comes from the most population dense area in the country. If a team from the NE is involved, they will make it in to these lists. Good for them though. We would have lost just like they did.

Merely getting reminded of that whole congratulating players situation last season. Also, remembering losing to them makes me a little depressed.

I still have not gotten over the game 3 loss. I would have bet the bank on LSU not losing a game 3 super regional at night @ the Box.

Yup. Me too. It still hurts, similarly to 1/9. But really, that team was better than us. We got a terrible draw at the wrong time.
