The choke tube is stuck barely sticking out of my Xtrema. If I put it in the vice and really get down on it I think I can get it. If I screw the threads up can a gun smith fix it. Help me out here

Wrapped the end with a towel and banged on it with a ball peen hammer and it freed it up.

my gf brought mine in to Jim's and they got it loose for free. if you have a good looking gf ask her to bring it in to the local gun shop/smith. it worked for me. good luck.

I guess just see if you can get it out and then see if the threads are shot. A gunsmith can cut the barrel and re-thread it if you frick it up. Threads might be ok if you get it out though as long as it wasn't cross-threaded.

I had this problem on a 870 Remington several years ago. I purchased one of those big arse jugs of WD-40 and took the barrel off the shotgun and stood it up in the jug for a couple of days. It screwed out with minimal effort after soaking. Just a suggestion.
