the problem isn't the hire. the problem is the hire in comparison to the fire. he'd get killed for firing a great coach, to hire a pretty good coach.. for no real reason other than the great coach lied to him.

that won't work. the fans like myself gave him the benefit of the doubt when he fired petrino, but not to hire franklin.

the coach hired a girl he was banging. it was a can of legal worms that no one in their right mind would open. You got screwed because Petrino is a scumbag. Don't blame your AD for that. And, if Franklin is the best hire he can make, be happy that you didn't end up with a coach with a 5-19 head coaching record and 10 straight losses at his previous gig (Gene Chizik).

You could do much worse than Franklin.

This is right up there with the stupidest crap I have ever read on this site.

You better hope this isn't the thinking of the powers that be at Arkansas. If it is you are doomed become what Ole Miss is.

Franklin would be a awesome hire for Arky and I for one hope he doesn't ended up at Arky or Auburn.
