We really need our run game to produce in this one. Not up the middle though. They need to run outside more than not I think. If our run game can produce as much as possible against that D, it will open things up that much more for Drew. Our OLine needs to have a good day. Drew can move around better than anyone, but if our OLine has a less than good game, it will cause problems. Drew can throw on these guys of course, but screens come to mind to pull the secondary in if they can be effective with it. Alot of factors come into this, but I believe we can pull it out. And of course, our D will need to continue to keep the points to a minimum.

That defense needs to get spread out so we can effectively run the ball and then create some play action off of that.

Let's keep in mind that the Bears played a horrific game. With their backup QB.

Yup. And Drew can do that. Unlike the 9ers trying to find the hottest hand, we, as always, have the hottest hand every day.

This is very true. It's not like the 9ers haven't had any bad games this year. They have.

San Fran's D is ranked 1st in scoring at 13/game, and 2nd in yards. I dont know if its realistic for us to expect we put up 30 points. We may have to win with 17-21 points. Chicago's D is ranked 5th and 3rd, respectively, and San Fran just shredded it. That doesnt bode well for our 32nd and 26th ranked D. Glad its in the dome (road game for them) and they are coming off a flawless performance at home. Thats when teams are most likely get their asses handed to them. tl;dr version: im not sure our A game could beat theirs, but i doubt we get their A game in the dome.

Transitive property really doesn't work out like that in sports. Every week is different. The Rams tied them. They had a great D last year and we shredded it. If our Safeties don't go full retard with under a minute left, we are in the NFCCG at home last year.

agreed.. but that doesnt change the fact that they allow 13 ppg. we're going to have to play some D in this one. Thats where i think San Fran sees the biggest difference from last week to this week: i doubt they will execute so flawlessly on offense again, on the road even.
