that tie with the Rams last week woke them up.

not surprised that their defense destroyed that joke of an O-line though.

the 49ers can run the ball, they are one of the best in the league at it so not surprised they gashed the Bears. Hell, Houston pretty much did the same thing to the Bears last week.

Kapernick was the surprise though, dude looked solid. I doubt the Bears thought he was gonna do anything.

the 49ers are a helluva team. I think we can beat them but we'll need to force some turnovers. Hope the O-line can hold up also.
having all of our RB's healthy will be key unlike last time we played them.

Yet Saints fans are saying that the only reason they lost the last one was because of all the turnovers (no credit to the 49ers for forcing them?) and saying no way that could happen again....

Well odds are we won't turn the ball over 5times again. I think that's a fair point.

Maybe no but it's absurd to think that just because of that you'll automatically win the game.

I think winning the turnover battle is a must for the saints this game because of our poor d. I.realize we won't necessarily win the game if we win that battle though.

There are stupid fans on both sides. Ours are just a bit more pronounced since the board is.dedicated to the saints.

Hopefully leading with the helmet and knocking players unconscious just to get a fumble will get flagged this time. Player safety and all. If not, we could be end for a long night.

We will win because Brees is the best QB in the game and this game is at the dome. Period. And John Brady sucks.

we AUTOMATICALLY win this game. its in the dome, the saints offense is the saints offense and the defense is starting to cure. players that will make an impact or make a game changing play:

No. Look at my post. I said before the game started that I thought the 49ers were the toughest game left on our schedule.

What I didn't understand, and still don't, is the part from your OP about how the 80s/90s Niners have anything to do with how these teams match up.today.

The Niners are a tough.matchup because they have a GREAT D, running game, and especially a great TE, which always gives our D fits.

Not because Bill Walsh owned The Dome Patrol, along with pretty much the entire rest of the NFL for over a decade.
