I go over. I think we win 2 sec titles and at least 1 national championship. I think the playoff could cut both ways (i.e lose a nc that would have otherwise won and win one without winning the conference like this year could have been).

What say the rant?

I'd take that bet. We might get one of both next year if our D stays dominate. Our O is moving in the right direction.

I think it's pretty even between both teams in regards to talent. Bama won't dominate us with who we have coming back for the next few seasons with the possible exception of DL. It's going to come down to coaching, momentum, etc.

This.

Last year was our year, but Miles got in the way, just like he got in the way on 11/3.

I will be very surprised if we win the SEC again in the next 5 years. Bama is Bama, A&M will only get stronger, UF looks to have turned the corner, and Arky won't be down for long. The SEC office will make sure that we have 2 of the 3 top teams from the SEC East on our schedule every year, so we will have no margin for error. We're also headed for another potential QB mess if we don't start beating teams by enough points that our backup QB gets some much-needed game experience. If Mett goes down, we're screwed, and Miles will have nobody to blame but himself.

SEC championship gives us a shot at the national championship. I'd say under and I would be on with it.

Tampatiger22 - you need to go support a different team because you are a miserable individual. Is the 22 your age? If so, it makes sense since you would have picked up LSU around 2000.
