St Louis Style Gooey Butter Cake

Had this for the 1st time at The Porch Restaurant in Dallas last week. God Damn it's good. This isn't the exact recipe from the restaurant, but looks to be close to what I had. If you're looking for an easy and delicious desert to add to your Turkey Day menu, this is highly reccomended.

The Porch was pretty great all around. Give it a try if you're in Big D.

Easy to make but I love it when someone brings it to work.

Me. I've also heard it called Neiman Marcus cake.

My cousin used to make this all the time when I lived in STL. Love the stuff.

It's called chess cake. Nothing St. Louis about it to me.
