I think it is great that Brees is doing this and it shows what a quality guy he is. Of course, perhaps there is a way that the Saints could donate this money on his behalf and it could be deducted from future earnings so that it helps out our salary cap towards the end of his contract. I mean if he is just going to give the money away, then let the Saints take the hit and everybody wins. Any tax/accountant experts out there who can figure out a way to make this work?
