What some of you don't seem to realize is some fishermen,me included don't really know how to judge if we're to close or what. Voices as well as gunfire out in the marsh sound really far away and muffled as compared to the woods where every shot sounds like it just fricking went off 10' from you.

Just an idea. Ducks will fly circles around the pond before landing. A 200yd radius would be courteous

My .02 is that duck hunter has a shotgun and fisherman has fishing pole. Shotgun trumps fishing pole. I've never duck hunted at a place where there are people trying to fish at the same time, and I've never gone fishing during duck shooting days.
