If Stanford beats UCLA don't they play again the following week?

They play to close the season and then in the Pac12 championship. Correct?

That is my understanding if UCLA wins. The reason I ask is there can't be too many times where teams played in back to back weeks.

Nah, Stanford still goes if Oregon St beats Oregon and all three end up with 2 losses.

Not just considering the obvious sparkle it takes off the CG if it's a rematch from 6 days earlier, it makes for a really uncomfortable situation for the PAC12 when UCLA would be probably be in a better much position to reach the Rose Bowl by losing the game to get Stanford in the rematch than winning it and facing Oregon.

It was because of conference expansion and teams having commitments to play non-conference teams. Everyone's schedules are out of wack. Stanford should be playing Cal in the Big Game this week and UCLA should be playing USC. The conference moved around all of the games to make everything work.
