I just want to say that the British used concentration camps well before the Germans ever did. Down with the Brits!

seriously WTF ARE you talking about?
Puffing yourself up about how much you love the British military while supporting a club which refused to pay taxes which would go to that military.

Tax avoidance strategies do not equate with the garbage you are blathering on about. Have you been told lately you are a twat? Yeah check my post in the other thread...

Almost exclusively for Northern Ireland. In fact, the Republic worked pretty hard to get the Nazis to smuggle guns onto the island to help fight the Brits. Officially, the entire country was neutral, so no soldier under the tricolor took up arms in the conflict.

And for McClean he should be happy to get a chance to play in the best league and highest paying league int he world, which happens to be in Britain. I'm sure he makes twice as much as he would playing in Ireland.

The article says:
quote:
He was one of about 5,000 Irish soldiers who deserted their own neutral army to join the war
So they didn't fight under the tricolor. If soldiers desert their country to fight for another I wouldn't call them Irish soldiers. I get what you're saying though.
