LSU fans need to enjoy their team...

I feel like LSU fans are getting more obsessed about other teams and coaches. While they are having golden years and competing for national championship each year with 83% wins last 10 years. We are fans, we love our team and coach like family no matter what. Just like family member sometime irritates, we stick with them. It goes well for the LSU family. Stop getting obsessed about other teams. What are we in 90's, 80's ...

Outside of a few games, it has been enjoyable enough. A work in progress team that may have found its identity.

The thing is, it is too easy for fans to look at what's going on with Alabama and say "why can't that be us?"
I think we fans in general underestimate the amount of luck it requires to win a national championship. Football is the most fundamentally probablistic of all of the sports. It is not like basketball, where you can just pile up the best players and win a championship. You need good coaches as well. Even still you need luck. The more players your sport has, the more your team is at the whim of probability.
What a lot of people don't realize is how unbelievably lucky Alabama is to be in the situation that they are in. They should be out of the championship hunt, but here they are because statistically unlikely events occured. What is going on with that team is a statistical anomaly. To expect that for us is unrealistic.
The best you can do in college football is recruit well and get your guys ready to play, and hope probability works out in your favor. Les Miles does that as well as anyone in college football. Because of that we will always field a competitive team while he's here.

We are just one of those teams you see now and then. We often score 6 but we seldom score 10.....

If our coach wasn't doing fake FGs on 4th and 26, we'd be going to Atlanta and Miami
