No it isn't.
Saban national title teams have caught many breaks. From other teams getting upset, to their NC opponent losing their starting QB.

The '09 game Colt McCoy gets hurt, they put in a RS Freshman making his first start. "Ok, it's your first start and it's the National Championship game. No pressure."
And we all know about that yellow brick road that took them to the game last year when they shouldn't have been there in the first place.
