I'm still loving the show this season. But it's edging just a tad towards more plot driven developmens and away from character driven developments.
For instance, it just doesn't seem like Glenn and Maggie to hesitate to the point that Merle gets the drop on them. I think with all they've been through, they would have filled him full of holes the first time he twitched a finger wrong.
Also, and this is just a guess on my part but I'm thinking that Andrea's going all ga ga over the governor is in the service of some plot rather than a reflection of her character (although to be honest, that's kind of all over the place so it's not really that out of character). I think they're getting her in the governor's place to "accidently" discover some of his creepy stuff or overhear something - maybe about Glenn and Maggie or finding his daughter or something.

It fits her character, but that would be interesting if she and Michonne are plotting something and Andrea is using/setting up the Gov for some higher purpose.
