Is this supposed to be directed at me? Cause I don't think the WiiU is gimmicky. I may not get one, but not because of something as trivial as the gimmick claim.
A gimmick is apple putting the headphone jack on the bottom instead of the top.

Unless you are upgrading from a flip phone than you could definitely make the argument that most cell phones from version to version are just added gimmicks.
