I've never heard it called pastalaya, A guy I know fixes it all the time and he calls it jambagetti.

Pastalaya is more consistently "good". Jambalaya has a better chance of being "great" or "mediocre". Think about comparing a Saints regular season game in the dome to a Tiger's regular season game in Death Valley. The Super Dome is just about always "good", it's rarely if ever bad and only once in a while is awe inspiring. Death Valley is more often awe inspiringly awesome, but for ever Bama game there are 3 FCS or sunbelt opponents (Towson, Idaho, ULL, Troy, The Citadel, North Texas, ect).

There is no option here. The only answer is jambalaya. Pastalaya is an abomination and insult to both Cajun and Italian heritages. Also is an insult to rice.

I had my first and assumably last taste of pastalaya a few weeks ago. It was a very bad moment with my taste buds, and the texture was horrendous.
