We would be #1 or at worst #2 today.

Even giving Florida that first win ( seeing as how the O was terrible) losing to Bama was inexcusable.

We are better than Alabama. There is no doubt.

I know a BCS game is likely and anything can still happen, but it really sucks to know LSU is probably the best team in America and only has one drive to blame for missing out on another title game.

Depending on which team shows up, in both cases.

Injuries hurt early, but will make us stronger next year. Lots of under classmen got valuable experience this season

I was coming to post this exactly. Very bitter pill to swallow today. Florida game we were still trying to gel and break in Mett and it is what it is. Alabama we let 1 final drive beat us. We would easily be #2 this morning and in the driver's seat to the NC. Oh well, shoulda coulda woulda.

We made the 06 comparisons the day after Bama with friends.

Keep the Bama loss.....we played well and it just didn't work.

I just wish the Florida game had a different outcome.

They were lucky to get us when they did, before we were able to settle down behind the replacement OL.

I'll add though that BOTH games in 06 were asterisks....not one. Ref-gate and the Murphy's law being put on display against UF
