A lot of our key players played in last year's game, and we also took a road trip earlier this season to Shreveport to play Loyola Prep and rolled them, so I'm hoping that experience will help. (of course, no one mistakes them for Calvary, but we did have to ride and play)

It's just frustrating to play a more difficult schedule in order to get a higher seed and STILL get stuck in the same place as last year when the seeds were reversed. As I said before, there isn't much incentive to bust your hump during the season when seeding matters little once the playoffs get underway.

One of my good friends went to and played for U-High (graduated '08) and he always keeps me updated on their season.. I knew they made the trip up there earlier this season, but as you have noted from my post, the difference is that playing a great team a few hours away on the road is much difference, especially in a playoff atmosphere.

I agree. Curtis could advance to the finals in the top half of the 2A bracket by playing their freshman team (although I don't see anyone beating them, regardless of where they were situated in the bracket), while the bottom half is absolutely stacked (U-High, Calvary, Evangel).
