Then why come at all? You get very few opportunities to see the team in person and you are a big hurry to get to the place where you spend a great part of 365 days every year?
I bet you are one of those that strut around bragging about having season tickets.
What an empty fan you are!!!

I frankly could not believe what I was seeing when by the middle of the 3Q the place was half full. The game was very much in the balance...nothing close to a blow out.

This is inexcusable. LSU fans have a history and tradition of supporting their team no matter what. If you leave early you suck.

It's why,I believe, they are not expanded the stadium fully. if they made it over 100,000 plus games like this and ooc games would look absolutely pitiful.

More like an hour or two. However, I like when they leave early, so when I leave toward the end of the game, there is less traffic.

Rush said exactly that on 104.5 and its available in their Audio Vault. Go listen for yourself and get educated about what you're bleating about like a billy goat.

That's a lie. I love when people make huge exaggerations to prove a point.

Pretty sure this is a long way from "half full":

So, should LSU stop playing night games so you can get home at a reasonable hour? I mean, if that is the goal and all. Maybe we should only play Alabama at night and let the rest be day games.

Stay the whole game. This is getting ridiculous.

I've been going to games for 37 years and I see and understand what you are saying. But there are 7 or 8 times a year we get this opportunity. Does an extra hour in traffic really make that much difference in your life? I listen to the post game show. I would do that wherever I was. Don't you? I fight the traffic and then drive 75 miles home. With all the attention this is getting and with a lot of respected people noticing and calling us out aren't you big enough to stay a little longer after all you go through to get there. Us older fans have got to be better than the leave early doctor and lobbyist group!

They've been taking away home games for a few years now and it has nothing to do with fans leaving early.

Dude I don't totally disagree with some of the comments but I think Gordy has and had a good job managing a shot load of radio stations including the one that carries LSU games so I think most of his compensation comes from that.

Why is your self identity so strongly tied to Tiger Stadium being full until the last second ticks off the clock? Get a life.

My last comment was directed at you because I respect a 40 year fan. Please take a look and tell me why I'm wrong.

This is with 6 minutes left in the game, and LSU just took over after sacking MSU twice in a row. Stadium is about 3/4 full. 13 point lead at this point.

Finally, someone with an objective post.

I get a kick out of all the self proclaimed LSU fans that come on a website, and flat out lie about the stadium being "half" full, or "mostly" empty. It's just lies. But I think these "fans" believe somehow they are special and better than other fans, and start believing things about others not being there, to make themselves feel like superfans. It's funny, but kinda weird.

Just re-watching. It was pretty cleared out at the 4 minute mark when MSU took over at their own 10, down 13. Every stadium in the country would be pretty empty at that point.

And you're a season ticket holder. Do you watch the end of the game or do you turn it off early too
