re: FC Kaiserslautern (2) vs Hoffenheim (5) season over :(

My mom lived in Stuttgart and Augsburg, so I guess if I wanted to be miserable and unique I could've chosen either of them, but I don't want to be miserable and following the Bundesliga in America is unique enough for me

especially since TSG is notoriously bad in the second half of the season. Really was remarkable. Respectable wins away from home in the hin and ruck runde as well

haha fair enough
VFB - Great fans, mid table - to top 5 capabilities
FCA - Meh and meh

Being a TSG fan has been almost harder then being a UT fan the last few years. They definitely test your patience but that's who my hearts with. The Dortmund and Bremen games really impressed me and had me believing we hired the right coach. The relegation matches confirmed it. The players said they didn't like him at first because he was pushing them and having them practicing harder then they have under the last 5 coaches. Which is good to hear

I could've lived with Stuttgart if I wasn't 15 when I chose Bayern. Their games were/are on TV every week and I didn't know the first thing about illegal streams back then, so VFB was pretty much out of the window. Yeah Augsburg is just no, I'm not doing that, would only do it if I lived there currently.

If you would've been around during their meteoric rise that would've been pretty exciting.

just got back from the game, i don't even want to talk about the abortion of referring that was out there

first hoff goal stands after taking out the keeper yea its what ever, the goal that would have put FCK up 2-1 gets disallowed fricking awful. That leads to a huge swing in momentum swing that ends up putting hoff up 2-1 mins later, they brought about 3,500 fans they didn't even fill up the away section.

The best interaction we had with them was their bus pulled up to us talking shite i gave them the good ol jerk off jester and some fat bitch looked right at me and gave me the eat my pussy.

all that noise after the 2nd hoff goal was our fans singing for 20mins straight basically a thank you to the club and players. It was amazing something you will never see in american sports. It kept going for another 20 after the game with the players thanks the fans.

A club like hoff with all that money should never be in the spot they were in but frick some bush league shite rolling around and seeing two players just laying on the ground.

It was a tough loss, I thought after the PK save maybe they had some life in them.
What's everyone's contract situation like at the club? Should compete for a straight promotion next year. Fortuna and Furth are not particularly strong clubs that will march right back up.

yea they should be in the top 3 again next year, still pissed about the disallowed goal then the blown penalty call when you could clearly see Mo's jersey being pulled.

That stadium is a fricking fortress geez the amount of beer thrown at hoff players was unreal. One of the loudest games in any sport ive been to

As for money wise the club is still in a finacal mess a club this big basically the club of sw germany should not be in the 2nd division

The refs without a doubt 100% fricked everyone equally all night, I promise you that. I don't think they called the penalty on beck grabbing dudes arm when he pupshed off a penalty because they didn't call weiss getting half way into the box and kicked by 3 FCK players a penalty. They were fair on if they fricked up and didn't call it for us then they wouldn't call it for FCK. Even then, the play that got you guys the free kick to get that point was complete bull shite. Go watch the replay, he fricking knicked his shoe. they made way worse no calls but afford you guys that one? That was bull shit, as far as the disallowed goal it should have been disallowed the homie was offsides. The line judge made the right call.

basically the club of sw germany

You can't be serious about this, FCK has been shitty for a while now. You guys couldn't beat one of the worst teams in the 1st league even in 2 games. there's no way you belonged back up a division. Not only that but when I think of "teams" of the south west I'd guarantee you outside of FCK fans most people would give that title to VFB Stuttgart hands down. The support is fricking amazing home and away, and they have top flight players that can compete in the first league or have the finances to pick up who they choose. I don't see FCK being relevant again for a long time bro honestly untill they spend some cash and get better players.

Stuttgart is south germany and 2 hours east of here

Hoff should have never even been in that spot with the talent and money they spend. We will be back in the first division its to big of a club not to be.

They issue is the club has shitty ownership its been bought like 3 times in the last 12 years.

I got some good pics and videos ill post later on

There isn't a bigger city more south and west then Stuttgart.

The main team from Southern Germany would be Bayern

ETA: The biggest Derby in the South West is the Stuttgart - Karlsruhe Derby. K-town isn't even in Baden-Württemberg

true but its still more central its not like this is a big country takes 5 hours to drive across it

In this state and west and a little bit east FCK is the big club and in Baden its easily VFB
