and i'm just going to warn you to expect a very close game saturday. yes, last year they fell apart and some years they are pitiful but this year they have been much improved and they can score points. ole miss loves to play in tiger stadium and i can assure you they hate our guts. they will play with maximum intensity and play way over their heads. forget the egg bowl, beating LSU is the #1 goal for them. we are their bowl game.

Last year was the most pathetic mismatch I have ever seen in college football.

I hope y'all are right, but a DAY game in tiger stadium...

Granddad, what year was it when the game was televised in the afternoon and ole miss won...sometime in the early 60's and I think joe labruzzo was playing foe LSU?

I have been watching for 55 years and I hope that you are wrong. We really need a blow out.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Chavis and y'alls defense adjusts to that fast paced offense. They really try to screw with teams with better depth to eliminate substituting. Problem with that though is after Ole Miss goes three and out in about 70 seconds, the Rebel defense is back out there trying to tackle some of the best RB's in the conference.

You should be old enough then to know that past results aren't good predictors of future outcomes when it comes to CFB . I saw my first Ole Piss game in '79.

2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010 were all LSU home games. LSU was way more talented in all but one of those years. Go look up the scores. Ole Miss plays LSU very tough. Expect a battle, but hopefully we wear them down and pull away in the 2nd half.

Ed O was a great motivator. They always played us over their heads.

Ole Piss will score some points in the first half, may even be leading at half, but we will give them a beat down in the second half!

Nothing better than beating ole mrs!
