How Jamarcus did in the league has zero correlation with his time at LSU.


Solid proof that once you get to the NFL, its what you have in between the ears as much as physical ability.

Funny how this play has such a big impact in LSU history. Without this fumble, we score a TD and quite possibly we're playing for the BCSCG.



UF went on to win the National Championship that year in Meyer's 2nd year.

They took some of that momentum for another NC 2 years later. Take away that one play and UF may not have 2 Crystal Trophies to their credit.

That now seems like another era, before more "naturally gifted" players like Cam, RG-3, Mariota, Manzell, and any number of mobile guys with great arms came on the scene. Jamarcus had a canon, and was big. That's all. On the next level He Looked like Rothlisberger, played like Gabbert.
