Ramrod in the butt doesn't like me cause i'm superior in all ways.

I knew whatever I posted, he would go oppo.

I used that knowledge strategically in me recommending a rifle.

Ramrod followed the bait like a champ.

I got the .35 Whelen at Academy last Thursday, filled it up with the Remington Core Lockss (not soft points), and once I got it sighted in it was grouping between 2-4" max just kneeling of a saw horse.

I like the 4570 for a brush gun, but any shot over 100 yards bullet drop is going to kill you. I may be using the 35 all year instead of my jamomatic, it's a smooth shooter.

It's ok. Some cartridge rifles while not realy primitive are allowed in LA and MS.

lever action

Not one of them.

Read LDWF primitive rules.

Single shot rifle with an action that was designed before 1900 of caliber .35 or larger IIRC

I want to use H&R shotgunfor some reason. Maybe just to be different. But they are not legal. Don't know why, it's not an advantage. There's a cool Tracker II Slug Gun that comes with sights! 12 or 20 ga.

It only hurts shooting from the bench.
The 870 spress with heavy loads prolly kicks as much as that 45-70.

My pops just bought a .35 Whelan barrel for his TC encore.

I have my CVA muzzle loader but I usually carry my bow during primitive weapons.
