I've noticed that a lot recently. When the pressure is on and our defense needs a stop. They do it. They get pumped. If they could play that way the entire game well damn. Maybe it's a good sign though that this defense will come around by the end of the season and if we make the playoffs we'd be the team everyone would be threatened by. Or at least we'll be something next season.

It's almost the exact opposite of the defense the past 2 years. The defense would always collapse in clutch situations, now the reverse is happening, it'll give up plays - but when the game is on the line, or their backs are against the wall, they seem to respond very well.

Never give up on the Saints...

The defense has really played well more than at opportune times. The just have some defensive breakdowns at bad times. Seems like Atlanta got a ton of their yards on 3 or 4 broken plays where their receiver was left wide open.
