I understand 100% what he's saying. If you can't beat em, join em. He's saying the R's need to start pandering like the D's. Afraid it's too late though. I'd prefer the R's stick to their core values and beliefs rather than pander. That is what is freakin sad as hell - that it has come to this point where a leading R is saying "frick it, we gotta pander too".

You can't be the one size fits all party anymore, you have to pander.

So it's you & working class GOP voters to champion keeping the richest tax rates lower when they aren't particularly asking(8 of 10 of the wealthiest counties voted Obama)?
Bobby Jindal , Bill Kristol & other GOP politicians can no longer make this foolish defense of the wealthiest & see nothing wrong with rates returning to Bill Clinton levels.
