Thanks for the picture. That setup looks great. Is that holster longer than the barrel?
I think I may go exactly with that rig if that Kahr feels good in my hands.

It must shoot really well also for you to have fired it so much. I know you said it is damn reliable, and I doubt I ever shoot it 4k times. I mean it isn't a Glock, but sacrifices have to be made sometimes.

The only holster they had available was for a Kahr K40/CW40, which has a slightly longer barrel but is about the same width.

You could also get one of these good holsters for a proper fit. They are reasonably priced...

I have this weird fetish about my guns having a very-worn look. When I buy something, I shoot the shite out of it. Any finish that has smoothed out is a proud battle wound for my handguns to wear. Just look at the wear on the barrel... (this pic was around the 3000-3500 round mark)

It isn't a Glock - it's better. Granted the trigger may have a very long pull and a very long reset (almost identical to a DA revolver), it is EXTREMELY smooth. And carrying a gun without a safety means that a longer trigger pull is a good thing.

Hope you like what you hold. Carry on...

Forgot to mention, all Kahr pistols have a 200-round break-in period. I'm sure most normal people will shoot their handguns enough to trust them but they say it's required since the guns are tightly-fitted.

My own CM9 only had one issue in the first day - the slide didn't lock back on the last round of the first magazine, and that's IT. It will run all profiles of ammo reliably. The lighter handloads I make sometimes give it fits, but that is simply my underpowered stuff and is not a fault of the gun. It will have a VERY tight action when you buy it so I would suggest some very hot stuff when you first shoot it to smooth it out. I ran the hottest handloads I had when I first shot it. It sped up the process.

Also forgot to mention that the barrel is +P-rated. It is made by Walther and is very high quality. The entire pistol is just a little tank.

EDIT: I also suggest you get yourself a set of Talon Grips. The gun is very light-recoiling compared to most subcompact 9mms, but the stippling on the grip is very sharp and eventually starts to hurt. Talon Grips remedy this issue and make it shootable all day long.
