Was hoping to get my cooler(demo) this week but it looks like the pushed them back another month due to high demand. Has anyone tried any of the earlier releases and have good experience with them?

Firstive heard of them. Just googled them and they appear to be pretty nice and well built.

They did some promotion back in August for their release in November. We are just now getting actual literature for them.

Here is the website:

Those handles and latches look like trouble to me, compared to a Yeti.

we use their shipping cases at our office
they're really tough
the hard edges could tear up a boat if they are the same design as their other cases
all in all they make great products

Other than O-T Baller status why would anyone need a $300 cooler. An Igloo cooler will keep ice long enough and you'll never save enough money in ice to pay for the initial investment of the cooler. Not to mention the wear and tear on your back from lifting the heavy frickers.

Storing ice can be a pain in the arse during the middle of the summer on the boat. Keeping ice is important, especially if you're doing overnight trips and you're paying $$$ to fuel up, no reason to go all that way and come back with spoiled meat

Luckily this cooler is free for me, but I can see a few cases where very useful, hurricane with no power, over night boat trip, a camp with out a ice maker, long arse road trip and you dont want the melted ice water messing with the food you stored

First I've heard of them. Look pretty cook. Latches could give you a fit on day down the road though.

Pelican does have a lifetime warranty, Im liking the latches over the rubber nubs. Ive sold Pelican for 5 years and have only replaced one customers latch.

This is the 35qt. It is a lot bulkier then I would have expected and a little heaver. However, I do like the latches, the lifetime warranty, and the price.

Looks very nice But thats my issue with all the high end chests.

Huge physical footprint with small interiors. (I know its for the insulation)
