I know there's a lot of football left to be played, and I'm getting ahead of myself, but do you think there is any way Joe gets some consideration for COY if the Saints go 11-5 or 10-6? Could he and Kromer "split" the award?

Given the unbelievable circumstances surrounding the team this season, if the Saints make the playoffs, I think they deserve a look.

One last question: Is this award voted on by the coaches or the media?

I think he's going straight to the Hall if you ask me.

You really think Goodell would let the coach he suspended for 6 games win Coach of the Year?

Head Assitant Interim Suspended Coach of the year.

That sounds about right.

Hate to be technical, but wouldn't he have to be the coach 'for the year'? Is he eligible? Would he have to split the honor with Kromer?
