I agree with the not bringing in a head coach being worse for our assistants. As much as everyone mocked the whole Parcells ordeal, I'd venture to say we'd be over .500 with him here. Kromer could have stayed with the o-line and run game from the beginning instead of fending off reports like rabid wolves

When everyone was saying this was such a "good problem to have," I wasn't so convinced. While in very happy with Ingram and Ivorys production, how does that affect Thomas and even Sproles when he comes back? Not to mention Cadet who has turned into a WR. While I like the different things everyone brings, I would just hate for our greed to cost us in the future. I can see Pierre would be very frustrated right now. He consistently produces yet gets benched to feed Ingram and Ivory. While I'm not pandering for one over the other, I just feel like this is going to come to a head sooner or later.
I dont think PT is frustrated. I'm more concerned with Ivory being frustrated because well...he admitted he was. I dont know when his contract ends but I'm willing to bet that if it ends this year he wont resign with us regardless of how we use him for the rest of the year.

I think that having their full-time O-Line coach back is the biggest key to the recent success.
THIS! Several things coincided to improve the running game. -Vitt returned adding some SWAG -Vitt's return allowed Kroemer to focus on OL and running game coordination. -Brown was inserted into the line-up -Ivory is activated -Ingram is healthy -Sproles is not healthy Ingram/Ivory get handoffs - running game stats Sproles/Thomas get flares and sceens - passing game stats

He's restricted next year so a team can make a big offer to him and give the Saints a decission to make. PT Sproles Ingram Ivory.

Thoughts?
Ingram is running with a greater desire and passion coincidentally since Chris Ivory has made his first appearance as a Saint in the game.

The Saints are running best to the right side of the line. Which is where we often have our extra Tackle, or the side where our blocking Tight End is lined up. We still struggle to run between the guards in the first 2 gaps near the Center, but we are doing really well running toward our Tackles near the edge, especially the right side.

Yeah, the "Ivory Put a move on the corner and beat him to the edge" Block really did well for the right side of the line.

you can discount the fact, but they are running best to the right the past 2 games. I'll take Ivory against the majority of corners in open space either way. I'm always surprised when he tries to outrun players rather than just steamroll right over them
