My criticism of her isn't based on her effectiveness in the ZA, but that they have introduced her in a really lazy and sloppy way. The writers just said, "Hey there's this awesome badass named Michonne coming next season," and expect everyone to accept it and love the character. What has she done besides swinging a sword around to make me like her? I find her attitude just annoying. Maybe there's a background to her that makes her likeable, but they have barely managed to tell us her name so far.

Basically, I'm not going to like her just because I've been told to by the showrunners. I'm tired of them not bothering to accomplish things on screen.
