Agreed. It a low percentage play and not sure why they continue to think they're going to catch someone off-guard

It wasn't 3 or 4 yards out for the TD.

We did have a 3rd and 4 and called the dumb play to get like a yard.

was a great call on the td, and i was about 99% s ure that's what we were going to run.

3rd down call was stupifying and yet again, i was 99% sure that was what we were going to run.

other than that i can't really complain about much which makes me happy.

Agreed.

Anyone that brings up the TD fb dive play is not being smart. Just admit a FB dive from 4 yards out is not good playcalling dictated by down and distance.

The FB dive with less than a yard for a TD is great playcalling by the same criteria.

The Offensive playcalling as a whole last night was wonderful. It really is fun to watch.

I agree play calling has gotten better, but the retard still shines through every now and then.

Copeland is averaging 3.4 yards/carry this season. If it had gone for a TD, you'd be on here posting "wow, awesome play call to catch them off guard on the 3rd and 3!"

I hate that response. I would have said, holy shite, we're lucky that retarded call worked. Glad it did, but don't do that shite again.

The next time Copeland is given the ball when we are not inside the 2 yard line, a rain of boos should shower down from all corners of Tiger Stadium. Les tried to lose the Bama game earlier than the last minute by giving the ball to Copeland near midfield. Only a LSU penalty bailed out a fumble and recovery by Alabama.

Hill, Ware, Ford, Hilliard, Mettenberger... no, no, no, let's give the ball to Copeland.

any play call that works is a good play call.

incorrect, no one thinks miles/stud makes good play calls. ever. if something works it's because the players execute. but if a receiver drops a ball, it's miles' fault.

i really don't even think that's what the OP is trying to do here, but i'm talking about the tards.

A whole 3.4 yds/carry!!! Hell, we should run Copeland more often!

That was Sabans response on why throwing it on the last play too.

It seems folks want some magic bean play call that always works. It is really funny to hear folk always talk about play calls. Not strategy calls..but play calls.

Almost as funny as hearing people say prevent defense when no prevent has been in place.

There were a couple of "give up" play calls. Mett was slinging it and there is no reason to hand the ball to your 8th best option on offense when you need 4 yards to keep the drive alive.

I didn't mind giving it to him on the 1 yard line but 3rd and 4 was dumb.

Agreed.

If we are going to run this, I wish he would line Hillard up in some fullback formations. Let Hillard run the quick hitter.
