What about the effect those people have on local bars, restaurants, convenience stores, hotels etc....

Those people spend a shite ton of money in your city and you should be happy to have them.

Most people who tailgate pack up their car and bring their groceries, booze, etc. with them.

They don't necessarily shop in Baton Rouge unless they forgot something.

The amount of traffic, trash, etc. was so not worth the extra people.
