the Hornets organization has had enough problems trying to get this very fickle fan base to financially support the team ever since moving here. the last thing they need is cheapskates trying to figure out a way to steal from them.
Posted on 11/10/12 at 11:47 pm to LAwhoDat
how is it stealing?
1) i buy a ticket.
2) some other rich bastard buys a ticket and doesn't show up.
3)i take his seat.
4)....
5) profit

yeah, I mean if no one sits there, I don't see what's wrong with it. 5 upper tickets probably equal to 1 lower ticket. Therefore it probably is the same if the guy try to save to go to moee games or buy moee beer.

lol F for effort
also I think its funny how you just assume that anyone in the lower bowl is a "rich bastard". says a lot about the mentality of people around here. my lower bowl season tickets are only like $50 per game.
the bottom line is that you're trying to rig a way to receive something that you did not pay for.

its hard anyways when there's a usher there to check for your ticket. Mind as well try to find the cheapest lower bowl ticket and find the best at the half.

exactly. I mean there is higher demand for high school football than there is for the Hornets in this state. you can find great seats for laughable, dirt cheap prices.

so would you rather the lower bowl to be empty on national tv?

wait, so it's ok for someone to move to a better seat in the lower bowl, but it's not ok for me to go from upper to lower?

I'm not sure how in the world we can expect `professionalism' from the franchise when we don't impose it on ourselves. The games are supposed to be fun, but learning to enjoy the game is part of it. The lower bowl isn't `all that' or it'd be worth paying for (see: economics).
This fanbase better learn that we need to be above average in every respect when the time comes, and that includes appreciation for what we have. We don't have to be there now, but every season should bring us closer.
As the smallest market in the NBA, and the smallest BY FAR of any two-plus sport market, we have to be better than average or we will be roasted by the media.

I didn't say you can't. But if the lower bowl is only 20 bucks, mind as well do it with all the hassle trying to sneak it. Man, as long as you're there cheering for the hornets. I could care lesx.

Wait until halftime when a ton of people are walking in and out and just walk in like you own the building and you should be fine. i have done this a few times.

great post
except one error - we are not the smallest market in the NBA. both Utah and Memphis are smaller
1. Salt Lake City, Utah (1,018,826)
2. Memphis, Tennessee (1,250,293)
3. New Orleans, Louisiana (1,319,589)

no I just don't want cheapskates like you trying to scheme your way into something you didn't pay for and the Hornets organization feels the same way. why anyone would be proud or brag about being that cheap is unbelievable.

i stay in the section i pay for.
i also don't bitch about other people moving sections when the place is literally half filled.

then why are you trying to justify it as being perfectly ok? because its not.

Why stop people from moving down. It looks better for the organization as a whole if we don't have just 50% of the club level filled each game- which is incredibly sad

oh yea that's the attitude to have! I'm sure the Hornets organization would love to just let any cheapskate who bought a $3 upper level ticket on Stubhub move down because there are empty seats! lets just ignore the people who actually paid to be there and let the freeloaders come on down!
great logic. maybe you should email the Hornets and let them know they could look better on TV if they did that.

because, unlike you, i don't give a frick what other people do. i go about living my life.
