the ammo run has started already

Went to Academy last night looking for some ammo for my wifes handgun. Shelves empty. Only thing left if definately not anything to burn at the range. Guess I need someone to teach me how to handload.

I heard that report yesterday. Dow jones plummeted 300 points and ammo/gun sales skyrocketed

Same thing happened four years ago. Panic is unwarranted, just stop into Academy sometime next week after the shelves have been restocked.

I've been trying to stock up but that shite aint cheap! Usually once I get a good bit stored I end up burning through it at the range. Any of you guys load your own?

I wasnt buying because of the "sky is falling" syndrome going on right now. I am concerned at what he may try to do in the future. The only thing I see he may be successful with is driving up the prices of ammo even further and possible bringing back the Assault ban. I was just there for some other stuff and thought I would buy more ammo.
