She had no reason not to trust the Sister. Besides, Holocaust survivors take "Never Forget" very seriously. It's not out of character for a survivor to try telling everyone she could find that someone was a Nazi, especially if they were a doctor at one of the death camps.

I think he thinks Tate is innocent (or at least isn't truly convinced that he is guilty) but realizes that there's no way in hell he can get him out of there or that anyone in law enforcement gives enough of a damn to investigate deeper to make sure they have the right person.
This means the only option he has is to try to make Tate think he's crazy so he isn't put to death. The shrink is probably thinking he will try to get the place shut down once he leaves, then can have Tate moved some place more sane.

Story lines so far:
1. Stand by me/I know what you did last summer (hit and run)
2. Nazis/Ann Frank
3. Zombies/The Hills have eyes
4. The exorcism
5. The strangers/slasher/serial killers
6. Alien abductions
7. Janie's got a gun (axe)
8. Shaw-shank Redemption (escaping)
9. Girl interrupted (lesbo in an asylum)
10. Murder in the first (innocent dude in prison being tourtured)
11. Frankenstein/the island of Dr. Moreau
12. The basic asylum horror
How many more can they cram in? Don't get me wrong, they are doing a decent job considering. I'm just afraid they are blowing their wad. What will they have left for season 3?

It's like that thing where a bunch of people are sitting around a campfire and everybody takes turns telling the story for 3 minutes.

Also, a great theory I have heard is that the monsignor is one of the twins that was in the Arden flashback and that the other twin is Bloody Face...not sure how we get from Point A to Point C on that theory but its interesting...

Another good theory! That would make sense. Why else would a priest let someone get away with all of that. Maybe his twin brother is one of the things in the woods and they are trying to revert him or he is suck or died and they want him to "live for ever".
