Do this. You can get everything you need at Superior Bait and Tackle, I buy my 2 oz egg weights for this all the time. Crimps there, leader material in different sizes, etc. I'd use 200lb - 250 lb mono

Beat me to it. The most expensive item will be a crimping tool but you can probably improvise. We were at the camp without any tools and crimped with a pen hammer.
