I feel clean all the time, not hot and clammy like most of the time in southern LA. The air smells fresh too, especially at night. I like to smell the pine trees.

Holidays where I can see relatives I only get to see once a year

I've always really liked that song.
It had such a beautiful, haunting, longing quality. Now it hits home.
And it's not so much...her...as it is the representation of what I thought existed, and no longer does, and apparently never did.
It might very well be just having someone to share it with that I'm missing.
I also like the crispness in the air,
The crunch of frosted grass beneath my shoes.
The low moan of wintry winds at night.
