They will be posted up at the BR clinic on Perkins for lunch today. If it's anything like the two locations, I don't think it'll disappoint.

I know they have gumbo and jambalaya, I'm not sure completely. I'm sure there would be a couple more things

I'm not sure how they are doing the food truck today. It's perfect gumbo weather though.

Does the driver have a cell phone, so that like the Coursey restaurant it will stay constantly busy because it takes the order takers a ridiculously long time to negotiate the computer screen ordering thus keeping the phones busy?

You've got a serious beef about that. I remember you going off on them for that before.

I had their Monday special last night, red beans and fried boneless chicken breast. Love that chicken.

I take the orders at that location during lent and I take the orders as quickly as possible, sometimes the people that order have questions or place very large orders. Once that call ends the phone rings again. Sorry the Togo orders are busy

I also give them lots of props too. But the powers to be at that location are not interested in fixing that situation. I guess when your parking lot stays full everyday at lunch, you can be that way.

Because that's the busiest time of the year? And I mainly wait tables the rest of the time.

i was j/k.

now tell them order takers to go bury their heads in that dempsey's computer so they can be totally oblivious to what's going on around them.

I just wanted to share what I knew with the board because I know people enjoy their food, so Albertsons it is I guess

And it's cool, Skil, it's loud and hard to hear while on the phone. But trust me, everybody there does actually care about the service they give to the customers.

i thought ruffino's had some sorta mini food truck/van, but someone told me that it's used to fetch & bring home the important baton rougestonians so they can drink their asses off without fear of dwi's. how i yearn for ruffin & crew to one day come and pick me up at my house in his party van.

You can reserve the van/limo. Probably have to guarantee so many people.

Looks like the brick and mortars are trying to stem the tide. Wonder when ol' Smokie will have his George's truck up and running?
