I've been saying all season that our biggest problem on defense has been consistency. In other games, they'd put teams in third and long and then let them convert. Or they'll force a kick in three straight drives and then give up a 90 yard run.

Some of that is talent--you can only scheme around so much.

Definitely. And its hard to tell if its play calling or players or w/e.

We've made some awesome stops, some badass goalline stands, and some absolutely boneheaded blown plays. Individually, alot of players on the D are improving. Honestly, I think that is the consistency issue. Individually they are improving in their assignments and their play, they just havent completely gelled as a team yet.

I hate life when the opposing team is 3rd and 35 and I feel like they have a decent chance to convert.
