The episode Southpark did for 2008 was a classic. Pretty much summed up Obamamania

It did. But remember there were two sides to the coin. It also did a good job summing up Obamafear, as well.

Honestly, I felt like I was was taking crazy pills seeing one side think that he was the second coming of Christ, and the other side thinking he was actually the anti-christ.

And I thought that episode really captured the overly emotional tones of Americans during this time.

Mickey was indeed in it.

Decent episode...had some style just not much substance...I was hoping they'd tie-in the 2008 episode...(hey, anything to put Randy in an episode) with him now being depressed or ho-hum about Obama and start punching revelers.

I lost it when Mickey was talking about Star Wars and said, "I own all this shite now."

Yeah this season has been solid. I haven't been disappointed with one episode.

It's been a great season, but clearly you didn't watch the Hawaii episode.

I thought this episode was solid. Not as good as the first Obama election one from 08 (the Ocean's Eleven one), but still good. Loved how they tied in Disney/Star Wars with all of it.

Butters having an almond M&M as his cyanide pill was awesome. As was Morgan Freeman earning freckles. And the whole Hummer angle.

I felt like the stealing of the election and the Star Wars story had enough content to be great episodes by themselves and together it just made for one okay episode.

However I didn't realize until the next day that this was the season finale.

Is it? Damn...I didn't know that either then.

Did see this though:

I'm going to give props to a great, overlooked visual joke:

Cartman using a flash grenade to exit from the Red Lobster.
