It wasn't a surprise that we played toe to toe

with Alabama.
This wasn't a David vs Goliath game, there's no moral victory. WE ARE AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN THESE GUYS and it showed.
We need to quit acting like they're superior because they're NOT. We don't play to make a good showing and maybe win, like some other schools.

i agree it isn't a moral victory and i agree theyre not superior, but i also don't think its time to melt down and call for everyone to be fired either. we let one get away. just like they did a couple of years ago.

In 6 regular season games miles vs Saban we are 3-3 and separated by a total of 6 points. Truly a great rivalry.

I agree with your premise, but they have won 2 of the last 3 national championships, and will likely make it 3 of the last 4.
I'd say that makes them a little more superior.

I don't think anyone questioned LSU being as talented as Alabama. They are a championship level program and know how to win, and what to do to make it happen. This LSU team isn't there.

Agree. LSU matches up with Bama so the games are tight but while Bama is gunning for yet another NC we now have our usual 2 losses and another Peach or CapOne bowl assuming we win out.

sure they did...at virtually every spot outside of d-line and running back. I was pleasantly surprised at how our o-line played and how much progress the passing game showed.
