Alum, NADA clean trade is what most dealerships in the area use as a value to base vehicle pricing off of.

Also, I know the used car sales manager over at Chevy. His name is Donovan. Real nice guy. I'm guessing you were in the Navy. He was in the guard. I'm sure if y'all traded a few stories, he would knock the price down a little.

I know everyone is different, but I have friends who own dealerships and the deals they have offered me haven't been nearly as good as the one I got from being adversarial as hell with a guy I've never met and will probably never see again. When I buy a car I am as selfish as anyone could be - It's me vs. them.

Except they lowballed my wife's Honda Accord EXL below the rough estimate, and there is nothing wrong with the car.

I think I talked to Donavan yesterday. I'm heading over to Ross Downing later today and look at a couple of 2012 LTs. Maybe I can get them in a price reduction war to get my money.
