Absolutely. I'm kind of in shock. I had no idea this was in the pipeline. How did they keep this under wraps during negotiations?

My initial reaction may have been premature, but honestly this is what Lucas should have done from the very start. The potential for the franchise was unbelievable, but he made sure no other director got their hands on the franchise after Kershner made almost indesputably the greatest film in the franchise and one of the greatest sequels (if not the greatest sequel) ever made. I'm actually proud of George, even if he's getting a boatload of cash for it.
