If I was a team that already had an established franchise player, I would love to bring in Harden as part of a "big two" or "big three". But I wouldn't give him a max contract and build my team around him.
The Rockets are loaded with assets. They aren't done. Next year they will be looking to land that big-time superstar.
If Houston lands that superstar next year with Lin, Harden and all of the rest of the young talent they have on their roster, they will be GOOD.

So the Rockets have a bunch of young assets, but Jeremy Lamb is just "meh" now that he's gone?
