Btw OKC got Kevin Martin who is a solid swingman and can also create somewhat off the dribble. Plus TWO first round picks. Is there even any debate that OKC got the better of the deal?
Kevin Martin is not that good. He scores his points, but that is about all he does. It doesn't help the team like you might think. That is why he can average like 20 points a game and he's not even close to being considered a star-type player.

Houston has been looking to let him go for a while now.

And the chances of landing a Harden-type player with the Toronto and Dallas picks are very low. OKC may pick up some okay talent, but it is still risky.

Jeremy Lamb may or may not turn out to be good. He was kind of "meh" in preseason.

OKC is taking a lot of risk while Houston is getting a proven player who is only 23 years old.

So yeah, OKC may have got more "things" in the trade (Martin, Lamb, draft picks), but they took a lot of risk, and Houston knows what they are getting. I'd say Houston came out just fine in the deal.
