Thinking back (at least in my lifetime as a fan) this game has been full of great game changing moments.

RB Sean Alexander coming in with a cast on his forearm as a freshman due to multiple injuries to Bama's backs and ripping LSU's defense a new one.

David Palmer almost single handily beating LSU. Think he passed, ran, and caught a TD and darn near had a special teams return. LSU held on for the win, but a great performance.

Josh Booty hitting Robert Royal for a long TD pass to seal the deal and LSU getting its first home win vs. Alabama in a loooooong time.

Jarrett Lee hitting Rueben Randle(?) on the long pass and 1st down to seal the deal for the Tigers.

The Patrick Peterson 'out of bounds' interception that would've given the Tigers the ball and possible 4th quater go ahead score.

Reid's interception last year.

What will this year bring? Hopefully a Jeremy Hill 50+ yard 4th quater run!!!!!!!!!!

The very first "unofficial" instant replay in the history of college football when the refs tried to give Bama a fumble recovery after an LSU player handed the ball to an official. The video replay guy in the stadium got a game ball for showing the replay on the jumbotron about 4 times before the officials finally corrected the call.

This was the 2000 game in which LSU broke the winless streak at home vs Bama.

My 2 greatest LSU-Bama memories will always be

1988- LSU wins 19-18 in Tuscaloosa after being down 15-0. I had just moved to Bama and needed the Tigers to win. Little did I know it would be a long time before another win.

1993- LSU ends the Tide's unbeaten streak at Tuscaloosa. It was a sweet game to watch.

Throw in Peterson's reverse for good measure.
