Matt and Kim - A Hipster's Wet Dream

Anyone else find this group WAY overrated amongst the hipster indie fans? I've listened to their stuff and seen them live. It's not bad at all. But when I saw them live...they just seemed to fit the hipster scene and were so cliche. The whole set was just full of lame banter and stupid crowd gimmicks.

They have some good songs but I agree their hipster tendencies tend to annoy me

I enjoy their music quite a bit, could care less about how they are stereotyped.

I like them. Really enjoyed them live during the Blink 182 concert.

People are quite obsessed with these mythical hipsters. I don't get out pissed people seem to be at a group of people that listen to music that is pretty much by definition NOT popular. Why do you want their approval so badly?
Anyway, I'm "meh" on these guys. They don't grab me at all. Though I do like Tegan & Sara.

I have no clue wtf you are trying to say here, or why it was directed at me.
Stereotypes in the music scene are so lame and for 15 year olds. Emo was by far the worst of them, some good bands, labeled emo because their lyrics were about love/relationships/heartbreak like 97% of every other kind of music.
